Hayley has been working with children and families since 2017, specializing in parenting concerns, communication strategies, and family violence. As a Program Facilitator with Trails Youth Initiative, Hayley supported children aged 11-17 in developing non-violent communication, emotional regulation, and mindfulness skills in a residential environment. She served as Director of Onsite Mediation for Toronto Family Mediation Services (formerly mediate393) from 2020 to 2022, and has provided family mediation coaching and domestic violence training via York University's Certificate in Dispute Resolution and Riverdale Mediation. Hayley joined the Clinical Panel of the Office of the Children's Lawyer (OCL) in 2023 and is registered with the O.C.S.W.S.S.W.

In addition to her private practice, Hayley is a Trauma Therapist at Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre, supporting children and families who have experienced sexual and physical abuse. Hayley completed her M.S.W. at the University of Toronto in 2025, and a Ph.D. in Religion, Ethics, and Public Life at Northwestern University in 2014. She is an Accredited Family Mediator and the founder and former Executive Director of SafePet Ontario, a Canadian charity serving survivors of family violence, human trafficking, and their pets.​​
